safeTALK, a nationally recognized suicide prevention training, will be offered to interested community members in northern Arizona. The training is presented by two community partners: MATFORCE, and Suicide Prevention Coalition of Yavapai County.
SafeTALK teaches participants to recognize the signs of suicidal thoughts, how to engage with someone considering suicide, and how to connect with available community resources. The training costs $20, which includes a participant resource kit.
