Correctional Health Services (CHS) host the Justice Involved SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery) Implementation Meeting, 8:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 28 at MCSO Sheriff’s Academy, 2627 S. 35th Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
SOAR is a program that works directly with homeless individuals to secure their Social Security benefits in a faster process. AHCCCS members who fall in this category may greatly benefit from meeting with a SOAR coordinator to apply for their current and back benefits, which could then be used toward housing.
CHS is expecting a high number of participants and as such, would like all who attend to review two items of information meeting:
- A Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis, part of an organization’s planning process.
- The SOAR 101 webinar with a criminal justice focus.
Please review before the June 28 meeting and join in the opportunity to implement SOAR!
